  1. Even though I know Matt will never do it, I think he should market the hell out of this album and put most of the songs on the radio cause I think this album is amazing.
  2. I'm really surprised to hear as much criticism on here. I'm usually one to be critical and I think this album is amazing. Sure there are a few songs that might take some getting use to, but if you focus on a few of the ones that are great right from the start like odette, 99%, Black hellicopter, champions of nothing, she's in it for the money, I think this is clearly some of his best work ever.
  3. I am on 99% right now and so far this album is amazing. I was a little worried when I heard a couple of the songs that he streamed previously, but the album seems to flow perfectly and the songs he didn't stream are just amazing. How could any of us doubt the outcome really?? We all know what he does, and he is the best at it.
  4. Ok, I just wanted to add that nothing Matt Good does sucks. In fact I'd say that even the stuff that I label as his worst music ever is still pretty decent and is all purchased, downloaded, and listened to regularly by me.
  5. Ya, me too. Not his best song. [hide_me] And I deffinatly won't get sick of a good song, I listen to MG most days (probably like most MG freaks on this website) and don't really get sick of any of it. So I think we, being some of his biggest fans, should be able to listen to his music as soon as we possibly can. That's why I will email people my copy of the song (single spark explosion) if they want it. Just email me and leave me your email and I'll send it to you. [email protected][/hide_me]
  6. Something about the intro to Man of Action that brings memories of relaxing at my cottage. I think it's the intro to that whole album that I like so much. Oddly enough it sets a happy mood for me. Near fantastica's intro gets me pumped too. Can't forget Weapon too, so simple yet so good. The ends of Sort of a Protest Song and Advertising on Police cars are both incredible- I sometimes feel like Matt is just showing off how good his voice is. Two of my favorite songs.
  7. I was on Ticketmaster earlier today and noticed that Matt was supposed to play in Kitchener on April 3rd/07 and now the show is cancelled. I hadn't heard about this show and just wondered if anyone else had and if anyone knew why it was cancelled.
  8. Can someone remind me what his email address is? I was thinking [email protected] but I'm not too sure.
  9. thanks to you both. he was a great man.
  10. Mark Anthony Graham was a soldier in the Canadian military that fought for...what I'm not sure....some other country I guess. He also ran for Canada in the 1992 olympics. This is how he is remembered on the news because he was the soldier killed yesterday by "accidental" american fire. Mark left behind a young daughter, two brothers, his parents and many close friends who all loved him and were looking forward to his safe arrival home. Mark was my best friend and the Godfather of my son -who he never got to meet. He had a strong and positive impact on those that knew him and was loved by our family and everyone else who had the blessing of having him in their lives. He will be deeply missed. R.I.P Mark Anthony Graham

It would be cool to here him (Matt) sing it but I go to a Matt Good show to here Matt Good sing Matt Good songs. I'd rather him take that song out and sing Life Beyond the Minimum safe Distance or another rare song.
  13. It looks like just that first show got to hear Life beyond the minimum safe distance. Lucky. Matt if you're reading this.....I will be at the show in Barrie and would like to hear that song.....thanks. That'll work for sure.
  14. Does anyone know how I would go about getting tickets to some of MG's shows? There are a few that are not listed on ticketmaster. The one I am looking for is the one in North Bay. I'm probably missing something obvious, can someone point it out for me?

    Opener.

Anyone remember Andy Stechanski (spelling's probably wrong). He was my favourite with Wil as a close second. Ladies and Gentlemen sucked.
  16. sort of a protest song tripoli (rooms)
  17. Weapon Sort of a protest song
  18. Fated Apparitions Weapon Tripoli (Rooms) Sort of a Protest Song
  19. Don't forget Fated. I've only heard the live copy of Breath of a Nation. Is there a better copy floating around? If so ..... [email protected]
  20. 1. Advertising on Police Cars 2. Suburbia -- very tough choice 3. Avalanche 4. Prime Time Deliverance 5. Tripoli (Rooms)
  21. Not enough people know who he is or the majority of his music. His best songs (in my opinion) have never been released. Imagine him releasing a CD with these songs on it : Advertising on police cars, Tripoli, Running for home, suburbia, avalanche, born to kill, Blue skies over bad lands, Change of season, Life beyond the minimum safe distance, House of smoke and mirrors, while we were hunting rabbits, the rat who would be king, prime time deliverance, and Sort of a protest song. He could make every one of those songs singles everywhere and do very well with all of them. Then tour eveywhere and he'd be a huge well-known artist over the whole world. If he were to market to a larger audience he would be huge but that's not who he is. He's not just trying to be an incredibly rich superstar, he's making art.
  22. 1) Blue Skies Over Bad Lands 2) Everything Is Automatic 3) Running For Home 4) Strange Days
  23. 1)She's Got A New Disguise 2)Symbolistic White Walls 3)Workers sing a song of Mass Production
  24. I've now seen him 14 times and never heard While we were Hunting Rabbits. As much as I love the song Avalanche, it's not one of my favorites live. If I could take any song out of his live shows it would probably be Apparitions because I've heard it one too many times live. Although I do typically like hearing his more melow stuff live (so I voted for Advertising on Police cars with Suburbia as a close second) I love both Near fantastica and Hello Time Bomb in concert.

    Pat

I think Pat is incredible and I hope Matt always plays with him in the future. As much as I go to the show to primarily see Matt I think I would be a bit dissapointed if Pat wasn't there. I have a picture with him and my girlfriend and he signed a setlist from that show for me. I also have two of his drumsticks.
