I think The Island looks a helluva lot better than ANYTHING Michael Bay ever made. Maybe it's the hopes that Scarlett Johansson will show some skin. Maybe it's the lack of Schmuck-er. All i knows is, it looks oooook.

A lot of people are under the impression that because she was young and female, that she was manipulated by Bernardo. Personally i think it's a load of crap and that we're accountable for our own actions. Still the movie might be good, even if it's a movie riding on controversy and media coverage unrelated to its own.

that makes me sad because maybe they were getting the liquor for their weddding. that's the only reason i see to buy that much. No you could tell by their demeanour and what not that they were definitly having a HUGE party. And they were fairly young, (i.e. 19-21) so i don't think they'd be getting married at that age. Elf was brilliant on all accounts. His character in Old School was hilarious. Every other movie he's starred in wasnt very good. And on SNL he has his moments.

Chapelle's spoof of Lil Jon was the funniest thing i've seen on television in a good couple of months.

I don't really like it. Kramer is the only reason why i watch it now and then. Elaine and George get on my nerves. And where Seinfeld is decent. Married with Children is HORRIBLE. Worst. Sitcom. Ever. As for the best, i give it to the Drew Carey Show (up to a certain point, they went way downhill after a while) and Yes, Dear.

One of the funniest sights i've ever seen was while i was in a car parked outside the LCBO. This group of young adults came out of the store carrying at least 10 cases of 24 bottles on the little trollies. And they loaded it all into their trunk, and drove off. Unfortunatly they forgot to close their trunk door, so about 2/3rds of their beer fell out of their car and shattered in the middle of the road and the parking lot. Good times. Good times.

I've gotten incredibly drunk off my ass numerous times and still haven't had a hangover. I do get a bit more vomity than most during my drunken stupor, so i guess that's making up for it. Oh and i can't change it to .mp3 on this computer. It's stupid. I also have Can't Get Shot In The Back, Agoraphobe, and the first two bad andy videos. There's also instrumental versions of Under the Influence and So Long Mrs. Smith, but they're performed by fans not matthew good. Although they are quite decent. The problem i have is that i don't know the best way to get all these files out to the people that want them. What's better G-mail or you send it? I don't know these sort of things. And you can have it all for free. But if you want to give something back i wouldn't say no to Downloading Blues, Extended Future is X-Rated, or some Bon Tempo.

You should have bought it at Shoppers Drug Mart (if there was one near you.) They were going for $25 there opening day. I went at 11pm, and they still had a fair amount of copies left.

They've got some really great stuff and some really shitty stuff. Worth a listen.

If you want cheap philosophy then watch Donnie Darko or Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Fight Club is a beyond amazing movie. To declass it as less than cinema is an insult. I really hope you weren't judging the movie on its anti-authority theme and were instead looking at its theories of self-fulfillment and male identity. If so and the movie was still not to your liking, understandable. But either way, it's clear that your definition of cinema needs a bit of reworking.

Oh come on now. Even matt good said at one point that he thinks 99% of what he writes is crap. I think we're entitled to a bit of bashing once in a while as well.
