  1. Write a speach on mythologie Have you seen the blues brothers? (if you haven't, shame!)
  2. Macbeth, I'm scottish. Do you watch survivor every time it's on?
  3. Urgh, damned if ye do damned if ye don't... (in general) If i can pick one artist I guess I'll go with rap because of K-os. Do you listen to classical music?
  4. Brandenburgh Concertos - J.S. Bach
  5. I love the mars volta, but the people who retaliated against that guy who wrote that thing (yes I'm aware of what I just said) come across as total morons. What ever happened to having a sense of humour or respecting other people's opinions?
  6. I just saw a commercial for In a Coma on Much (I was channel flipping! Stop looking at me like that!) It was embarrasing, it sounded like they hired the annoying movie preview voice to say "In a coma, I A coma, in a coma, iN a cOMA!" over and over again. It made me sad.
  7. I can proudly say that I AM NOT! Are you bored?
  8. My favourites work in strange ways. Currently my favourite artist(s) is the Mars Volta, before that... Matthew Good, Miles Davis, Miles Davis, Matthew Good, The Smashing Pumpkins, Johan Sebastian Bach, Peter Gabriel, Jhon Coltrane, Matthew Good, Thelonius Monk When I first realy discover an incredible artist they become my favourite for a short time, then go in to circulation with my other favourites (as listed above). Out of all though, I'd have to say Miles Davis. He spans jazz, classical, rock, funk, new-age, and world-beat. (plus I'm a trumpet player).
  9. The Mars Volta can write catchy songs under 5 minutes, and why should songs be short anyways, are you implying that they should be...Radio friendly? As for the song titles, they are part of a story, like the names of chapters. If they seem a little verbose or strange, I for one find it refreshing to see song titles that are more than one word, ex: home, work, love, pain etc.
  10. ya, I don't understand all these bands being called pretentious because they are open minded.
  11. You must have been Phlegmatic in stature!!!!
  12. Seven steps tp heaven - Miles Davis
  13. Sorry, no flaming, just wanted to know why thisis your opinion. I love discussing music.
  14. I recently discovered tis band, heard a few songs, and fell in love. I rushed out and bought De-Loused in the Comatorium, and have been pretty much listening to it non-stop since. In a matter of days I've gone from never having heard of them to them being one of my all time favourite bands.
  15. I just watched, and loved it. Barry Zuchercorn is such a sleazebag.
  16. Miles Davis - Tutu Paul Simon - Graceland

  18. i do not like greatest hits albums. I'm getting Inacoma for the bonues tracks and cds and dvd (drool). I always feel cheated when I get a greatest hits album as a gift because I want a real album. Then i just end up with some useles copies of the same song.
  19. It actualy realy depends on my mood. If I want to be reminded of the causes, I am, if not I just listen to thte music and waych the videos and just enjoy them on an artistic and emotional level. It's all in your frame of mind.
