Agreed. Kyuss is awesome. It would benefit everyone to listen to this amazing band. I don't know if this counts as underground, but Porcupine Tree are amazing too. Ive been playing guitar for three years too. I'm in a couple of 'bands'. They are 'bands' and not bands because all of them are non-performing, and we rarely get together to jam or whatever. More like a loose association of musicians who play together when possible. That said, THE MAN has the best advice: Thats all you need right there.

Yes we can all use a good hearty laugh now and again... i think ill enjoy one now myself. Yet i can honestly say ive never seen any wild hamsters, although i have always wanted to. I am also interested in knowing what happened to the leg. Did they reattach it? Is it mounted over his fireplace? Thanksgiving dinner? Do tell.

Does anybody know what type of guitar Matt used in parts of at least the Calgary show (Alert Status Red). Its a Gibson, semihollow, ES-335 style body, but with weird what-would-be f-holes (sort of diamond shaped), and with a Firebird-like headstock? I ask because i have never seen a guitar like this... ever... and it was a really cool looking guitar.

Yes indeed... a great show. Limblifter was good... Auf Der Maur wasn't really my thing... (also i couldn't hear the singer at all, i guess it was poorly mixed, i dunno) But Matt and co. were at the top of their game. Awesome show. Band was tight, great setlist. I just wish it was longer... 'Can't get shot in the back' was a great surprise for sure. Solo Matt on acoustic is AMAZING. All in all, awesome show. I got a great spot too - right between Matt and Christian, right against the front railing. Where did all the rest of you attendees get to be?

However, as it is, i guess it will have to be a somewhat belated hi. Great show though wasn't it? I was right inbetween Matt and Christian, right up against the railing.
