This thread is too old. Send it back. That said, i love pedal steel guitar. Someday i will acquire and learn to play one.
-
Yeah i got 10/10 too.
-
It certainly is now, but in the 50's, the formation of rock, it was country and blues.

I do not like Modest Mouse even a little tiny bit. I find their music to be quite irritating. Sorry. -
Hooray for me!

70's garbage?? No way. Music is nowhere near as good as it was in the 70's. Not to say there isnt ANY good music nowadays, but it is scarce. It was significantly scarcer in the 90's (quite a shitty decade), and nearly nonexistent in the 80's (far shittier). What makes classic rock lame? It just withstood the test of time. More than can be said for the vast majority of 90's and contempoary bands.

Blues and jazz didnt come until later... in a rock context? or at all? In any case, jazz in its own right dates from the 1900's. Blues dates from the late 1800's. Blues rock probably began with the Yardbirds (1963) Jazz rock fusion would be Miles Davis, 1965. All predate Zeppelin by 5 to 10 years. And country dates from the 1920's anyway - 30 years before the earliest rock music (which was Chuck Berry, or maybe the Comets). Sorry, but i needed to clear that up.

Radio Bonnaroo Just some really good internet radio for anyone to check out. Folk, jazz, jam bands, etc. All really good music on here. Check it out if so inclined.

Boolism is the new Kabbalism.

Wow, some of you see whole lotta movies. I see maybe... 3 a year in theatres. The three most recent movies i saw in theatres were The Bourne Supremacy, Farenheit 9/11 and LOTR3, in reverse chronological order (they were all first runs when i saw them). And i only saw those because they were free to me for various reasons. Its a waste of time and money. Mostly money.

The O.C. is way up there on my personal list of why TV blows so hard nowadays. What a terrible show.
-
It was the little ninja icon smilie thing that convinced me. ;)
-
Boond, you made the list because your first three letters match with bool. But you questioned it and now its taken away. Back to the waiting list for you. Born to Kill can be the renegade bool, the anti-bool.
-
Blue skies, buffalo seven, and ex-pats.
-
You're just mad because you are not The Bool, but rather A Bool. I am The Bool. Followed by Yasa, then Boond, then Mouko... maybe. It is yet to be determined. But one thing i know for sure is no Lauren will ever be The Bool.
-
Bah, what do you know.
-
Yasa, youre not the bool, im the bool. Not to say you are devoid of bool, but i am the bool. Boond has potential for boolness, though, because hes already got the first three letters. I am the one true the bool. All else is just a bool.

What do any of YOU know of the ways of The Bool? Let Hamburglar entertain you:

Weapon. But only barely.

Early anti-Bush demos fizzle in Canada OTTAWA : Hopes for early mass protests in the streets of Ottawa on the eve of Tuesday's visit by US President George W. Bush fizzled out, as journalists outnumbered demonstrators. A loose coalition of groups opposed to just about everything Bush supports had promised two demonstrations hours before Bush was due to jet into Ottawa Tuesday aboard Air Force One. The first demonstration -- of Palestinians and sympathisers of the Palestinian cause opposed to Washington's support of Israel -- attracted less than 40 demonstrators. According to a quick head count by journalists, the protest attracted 39 demonstrators, 42 journalists and television crew members and three police officers. A second, ostensibly larger, demonstration scheduled for the midst of the evening rush hour -- was called by a group calling itself Students Against Bush. Nobody turned up. Further protests however were expected on Tuesday. Efforts to contact protest organizers were unsuccessful, with the phone numbers listed by organizers remaining unanswered. - AFP http://www.channelnewsasia.com/stories/afp.../119862/1/.html
