Nuh-uh. I understand that it's not supposed to be another Citizen Kane or Schindler's List, but it can't even pull off its own genre effectively.

 

For that matter, I can't say I've ever seen a superhero movie that was genuinely good watching.

Shiri's right. It's just entertainment. It wasn't meant to be thought provoking like Schindler's List, or A Civil Action, it was just meant to entertain. while I was disappointed in each Spidey film in some areas, I still found them enjoyable.

I guess you were disappointed because you compared them to the comics? But for people who haven't read the comics, I see no reason why the movie won't be enjoyable.

That was some of it yes, but also some of the common sense things...like constantly using his powers with no mask on.

Not at all, I though he was great. He just took the mask off too damn much, and Venom didn't get all Venomous on that ass.
