i ask cuz i was kinda blown away last night at work, when i was talking to my supervisor and he mentioned that he has 12 thousand albums on his computer and backed up on dvds. i only have,as of now, 4838 tracks on my computer. he said he hardly ever listens to music anymore, he just keeps everything he's ever downloaded. i mean...shit...12 thousand albums!

supervisor. and he said it includes pretty near every genre (country, rap, etc.). i don't see the point in having a ton of music you're never going to listen to. i cull my collection once in a while. if i kept everything, i'd probably be close to your count.

last time i checked, i think it was over 9000 songs. i'd probably have 3 times that if i downloaded mp3s, but alas, i do not.

 

it works out to be 3 drives at over 250gb total.
