Do you really think this is going to be the final matthew good record? to me, it does not seem like another label is going to pick him up and i doubt after 10 albums that he is going to be re signed. so what is next? will he write a book? learn to fly planes or simply blog.

i have always wondered if there was a future in politics.

As mentioned above, he'll probably sign to an indie label.

On another note, he really needs to stop changing his site's favicon. ;/

Why would a label want to sign someone who already has a fan base? Maybe he'll get dropped by Universal but I doubt it'll be hard for him to find a new one if he wanted to....Not to mention he could just do another independant release....

It's not that Universal is dropping him, it's that he's now fulfilled the number of albums outlined in his contract. I'm sure if he wanted, and Universal wanted, they could negotiate a new contract.

If Matt does go with an indie label, which is looking likely I think, I don't think it'll hurt his sales any.

I doubt that Matt would want to stay with Universal even if they asked him to. He'll probably end up at a smaller, more indie label because from what I understand, he doesn't want to start his own label.

He posted in his new forums that he is considering doing in all himself, and I think he could do it easily. Or if not, he will go to a lower key indie label. Either way, i cant see him not making more music, i hope hes just getting started.

and for the politics thing, ive been saying this for years and i wish he would but i dont see it happening. It would cause too much drama with his crude honesty.
