Bands with staying power are bands/artists like Muse (who've already proved this power, maybe not in North America, but elsewear i assure you) Alexi Murdoch (he's got some balls) and thats all i got right now.

I'd say Isis is a lot more popular than interpol in NA.

 

 

It's weird seeing Radiohead cover bands get popular...I guess Muse changes the songs just enough to fool the masses.

I could see TV on the Radio being around for awhile but I don't know them well enough to make that my answer for this thread. I'm having a very hard time coming up with a new band that has staying power.
