I only saw part of the trailer for this but Ghostrider is the fuckin' shit.

 

 

I noticed Nicholas Cage is it in... I love his work but I can't really see him doing this kind of role. I hope he doesn't make Ghostrider some kind of pansy.

Ghost Rider is one of my fav comic characters of all-time. But i hope they keep this movie to the characters roots. Make it more of a thriller/horror movie than a superhero flick. Ghost Rider obviously isn't a superhero. I want to see some people die & get their souls fried.

 

I just hope it isn't lame with too much crappy CG. I know Nic Cage is a huge comic fan, so he probably lobbied hard to get the part. He's not a great actor but we'll see.

Totally. When I first heard about this movie a couple of years ago, I thought people were saying "Ghost Rider." I was so excited. Then when I found out it was yet another superhero movie, and that it was starring Nicholas Cage, I took my life.

 

Edit: Now my spirit returns to this plane of existence to help diverse young people solve mysteries.

yeh i like comic books, and most of the movies are good. This one looks utterly shit though... :\

good = adaptation and weatherman.

bad = ground 0 or whatever that movie is called, and presumingly ghostrider.

adaptation was terrible.

That's true, except for any mention of "good Nicholas Cage."

Any movie that man is in, I just think "there's Nicholas Cage." That's not right. I should be able to see an actor as the character, not the actor hanging out in the movie and being part of the story.

Despite the fact that he made some good movies (Leaving Las Vegas for example), there's still something about this guy, I can't really stand him.
