are children of bodom death metal? i can't get into the sreaming like a demon thing, but i caught one of their videos one night when i was half drunk, and i dug it. still, i couldn't listen to vocals like that for very long.

well the most screaming I have in one band would be Psyclon Nine or Psychaos...but those are metal, industrial, but not this Death Metal you speak of

Saw them when they came to Vancouver a few months ago. They were freaking awesome. I got kicked in the chest!

Everyone knows who Blind Gaurdian is. The fucking cheesiest band in the world...especially their Lord of The Rings album.

No way man, they're awesome. A Night at the Opera is a brilliant album, and their Live CD is excellent. I also ahve one of their DVDs, and they have one of the most insane fan bases I've ever seen.

 

I admit that singing a song in elvish IS really tacky, but they're a fun band, and talented musicians.

i love certain metal. Mostly old shit, stuff from the 70's & 80's like Black Sabbath, Motorhead, Metallica, Iron Maiden etc. That kind of stuff.

 

There are so many different genres of metal that i get confused, but i don't think i'm much into Death Metal.
