I have seen George Clinton live, when they appeared on stage, as guests of Phish, on 12/30/2003, as Phish played Makisupa Police man,

Trey invited George Clinton and Parliament-Funkadelic on stage for a medley including elements of Botta Butt, P-Funk, Give Up The Funk (Tear the Roof off the Sucker), and One Nation Under a Groove, which was the strangest group of people I have ever seen live.
