i just made a donation to last.fm. they seemed worthy. if i don't like being a subscriber, i won't donate again.

Being a subscriber doesn't really give you much. They once gave me a month subscription for free because of some errors they had and I didn't really notice a difference.

yeah...i really haven't used the radio or tagging stuff on the site so like i said...if i don't like it, i won't donate again. it was only 6 bucks and they were worthy. at the very least: no ads for two months.

i've got my own radio station thingy. that's kinda neat. i don't know how it picks what to play, but i skipped through it a bit earlier and it was playing tracks i had listened to that aren't available on last.fm. i think, anyway...paper shoes by incubus came up, and on the incubus link it isn't listed to listen to. meh...6 bucks worth of novelty, i guess.

call me stupid but what is last.fm? i know its radio & i've gone to the site once to check it out. Can I listen to a whole much of songs free? like AOL radio etc.?

I'm not sure if you have to sign up to listen. it tracks the songs you listen to and suggests songs that you might like. i like it.

You listen to music on your computer like you normally would, and it tracks it.

Though you can listen to music through the site.

I don't like how you can't see the icons for the groups anymore. They just list them under the profile. Meh. I do like how the artist pictures are regulated squares now. I have something for squares.

i think i want my 6 bucks back. i liked the look better when the pictures were all mashed together. not digging this symmetrical seperated squares thing.

Yeah, I don't think I like it now. The top ten artist thing is weird now because there are two spaces missing because there are ten squares, not twelve. Yeah. Haha, whatever.

dude, there's little play buttons on all the lists now by tracks that, i guess, are available to listen to from last.fm. and the pictures that appear next to the lists are all symmetrical and seperated now.
