Damien Rice 9 Crimes

[Crusader]

Good cd. I still can't tell when it's Damien singing because he sounds so much like the girl at times.

They play one of the songs off the album in the episode where Grissom leaves CSI apparently. ;)

Anyway, same old moody stuff but it's gold.

[Prometheon]

I haven't listened to the entire album, but I LOVE 9 Crimes the song. It reminds me of Tripoli (acoustic) a lot for some reason.

[Shiri]

It's a good album. Not as good as O but still good.

[Crusader]

O is just fantastic. But this is a good third album?

[Shiri]

Third? It's his 2nd album.

[Crusader]

I thought he had one before o? dammit i keep typing out )

[Shiri]

Nope, O was his debut. 9 is his second album. O was so great that it's really hard to follow.

[Crusader]

i was so wrong ;) i'm sorry damien, i didn't mean to call your 2nd your 3rd.

and damn, O was fantastic.

[Shiri]

Yeah, though The Blower's Daugther got way overplayed.

[Crusader]

I blame Closer. Which was a good movie though.

[Shiri]

Not really. I expected more from it. But then again, I didn't apprreciate Natalie Portman then, only after V For Vendetta I came to the realization that she's absolutely awesome.

[shade]

This guy is like a lame version of Donovan.

[Crusader]

Donovan?

[Shiri]

I have no idea what he's talking about.

[shade]

He was a huge artist from the 60's. Sunshine Superman/MELLOW YELLOW?

jesus christ.

[Shiri]

What does he have to do with Damien Rice?

[shade]

Laugh Out Loud

[Prometheon]

Finally picked up 9, and it's a really good CD. I'll have to check out O some time soon.

Current fav songs: 9 Crimes and Rootless Tree (gotta love that chorus)

[Shiri]

Heh, yes. Me, My Yoke And I is pretty awesome too.

i heard this song for the first time today!

i really like it. ;)

[Jarrod]

*cough* I'm getting this album *cough*dl*cough*

[i_the_throw_away]

Rootless tree is amazing!! I really like 9 crimes and accidental babies! But I definitely agree that O was better.

[Shiri]

I imagine it must be really hard to follow O because it got really big and I think he managed to not be disappointing with this.

[thewickernightmare]

i just got this album...i liked O and i actually think i may like this even more except for the last 2 songs...the first 8 songs on it are very good...last 2 im not digging...my faves are elephant, rootless tree, coconut skins, and me, my yoke, and i...i recommend it

[chazzer]

Though 0 had a lot of great singles, i like the flow of this album better from start to finish.
