not sure how strange this is, but i've been putting onions in my grilled cheese sandwiches on a pretty consistent basis for the last little while. it's delicious.

Cheese and onion is a well-known combination, I thought ? That was actually one of the first things I learned to do in the kitchen - I've still got the scar on my index finger to prove it.

i used to hate onions with a fiery passion, so putting them in anything seems kind of weird to me at first. since i've managed to acquire them, i pretty much love them and add them to a lot of things that i previously thought were already complete. they have to be cooked however, raw onions are too much for me.

hmmm....Christine, saute some onions, and shrooms in olive oil, oregano and basil...and put on top of a green salad with an italian oil and vinagar dressing or a fruity vinagrette, and I guarantee you'll be in heaven.
