Man, I really don't "get" Explosions In The Sky. Most of thier stuff just seemed boring to me, although I only listened to one album.

I didn't get into Explosions In The Sky at first. I fell in love with Mogwai and started to explore. Their music is beautiful to me but to each their own.

 

So Far Away by Goo Goo Dolls

 

That band is so me as a teenager.

Goo Goo Dolls are a great band...underrated...they get a bad rap sometimes for no good reason (I don't buy into the selling out nonsense).

 

Though their last album was not very good, I hold (some) hope for the future. So Far Away is one of my favorites. Their older stuff is awesome too. Unfortunately I think the chain smoking is finally getting to Johnny Rzeznik...his voice just ain't the same.

For some reason I just can't Explosions In The Sky.
