There's a new demo of Agoraphobe on Limblifter's MySpace and Ryan's taken Matt out completely...I wonder why ;)

I don't like Ryan's voice on the "I never wanna go, we'll stay home"

Wow, I just listened to both versions, Ryan's is brutal in comparison.

Hasn't this one been up for awhile?

Not that I know of, the last version I heard he had taken off the verse but not the "I never wanna go" part...

I rather like it, it's pretty much the same as before but Ryan just made it "his own." He can't exactly perform the original live without MG anyway haha.

I prefered the mix I made with the original Matt verse and the Ryan verse and the Matt backing vocals...it's just the way it's meant to be dude

I have to agree that this version is mediocre compared to the other.

There's still hope I think because Ryan told me that there are a bunch of versions of this song. So maybe that's not the version on the future LL album

Woah, I had no idea Limblifter had a MySpace...

Why would they take Matt out? Hm.

MAYBE THERES DRAMA

who cares.

also... the version sans matt has been up for a long time. maybe it was taken down at some point, but matt was never featurrred on the version they have on myspace. maybe because limblifter arent jackpillowhead?

Finally I get to hear some music by the mysterious Limblifter. I'll get back to you with my opinion.

That is not true, at some point, Matt was still doing the back vocals and that's how I made the mix between songs. I used the beginning of the jackpillowhead where Matt sings "Tonight, a bird will fly..." and then pasted the rest of the song that was up a couple of months ago were Matt still sung "I never wanna go we'll stay home"

Listen to Jumbojet Headache and Alarm Bells.

The only problem on I/O is that the drumming can become very irritating and monotonous. It's still a great record but I still feel that Bellaclava was their best record as the instrumentation on that record was superior to anything off I/O.

I agree that Bellaclava has awesome songs too and is more polished than I/O

I think I'm the only one that likes I/O better than Bellaclava. I think it's a way better album.

Isn't that Matt who does backup on Alarm Bells? Right around 1:11?

Ryan: So get out...

Matt: Get out...

Edit: And yeah, the drumming is very minimalist. Apparently they got to the studio and Ryan told the drummer "no cymbals" or something like that. There's still some in there, but they are scarce.

Yep, Matt did vocals on Alarm Bells.

And the other voice after they say

"It won't work out"

Matt repeats: "It won't work out"
