i've heard people are attracted to people that look like their parents, but ive never heard of liking someone that looks like you, although it sortof makes sense.

 

i cant see it applying to those who loathe their looks though...

it's the same thing. you share the same genes as your parents. your parents look like you and vice versa

Hah, this reminds me of a hilarious story my friend told me today. Apparently way back when he was 15 or so he was dating this chick who looked kinda similar. So one day the two of them meet up with his step-cousin (fairly new to the family), who hasn't met the girl yet. The step-cousin of course asks "Who's this?" and my friend tells him "Oh, this is my sister". Haha, so they get in the car to go wherever they're going, and my friend grabs his girl and starts making out with her. He says the look on the guy's face was gold! Hah, and he didn't tell him the real deal until they got to their destination.
