They have a new single out called "In view" from "World Container" (comes out October 17th)... go to www.thehip.com to give it a listen.

 

I kinda like it... I think I need to hear the rest of the album to make a judgment yet. What do you all think?

lots of other bands i know, dont count their best of as a cd, they skip it, and put it on another, but maybe.

Day for Night is a stellar album, although it bugs me that every song has that long outro.

It doesn't exactly sound like the Hip I know, but it's pretty good. Definitely reminds me of some upbeat-sounding 80s band, which isn't a bad thing.

I'm glad to hear they are using a snythesizer, but I'm more glad to hear that Bob Rock didn't manage to completely fuck them up.

 

I'm really looking forward to the new record, In View sounds great.
