Which Mg Tunes (if Any) Do You Dislike?

[ADAMALLO]

Alright, I have a few, including.... hopeless, buffalo seven, fall of man, prime time acoustic...

what are yours?

[no yu begin wher i end]

Comfortable Criminals

Haven't Slept In Years (LOTGA)

Man of Action (borderline dislike)

Song for the Girl

[orgasmi]

i have trouble listening to little terror, always wind up skiping it when listening to WLRRR

[sodamntired]

advertising on police cars isn't a favorite of mine.

i mean, its still great, but for me...meh...

[Selina]

I end up skipping over Little Terror quite often too. I've never really enjoyed Middle-Class Gangsters or My Life as a Circus Clown.

[reckoner]

north american for life (acoustic version is worse)

song for the girl

oh be joyful

big city life

alabama motel room

[Audio of Being]

Antipop

Bright End of Nowhere

Hopeless (the hidden track at the end of WLRRR)

Failing the Rorshach Test

Deep Six

[slegros]

Load me up

Little Terror

[AnOceanPearl]

Every Name is My Name

I used to dislike "The Rat Who Would be King", but it's grown on me a lot, as has "Little Terror".

[Guest apsham]

Call me a jackass or something, but I really can't say that I dislike one of his songs.

[Doormat]

Man of Action, The inescapable us, Middle Class Gangsters, North American for Life, Alabama Hotel Room, Anti-pop, Rico

[Rebabaluba]

Wow a lot of hate for Man of Action, it's such a good song.

I pretty much like all of Matthew's songs, but there are a few exceptions such as

-Haven't Slept in Years (Raygun)

-Rico

-North American For Life (Acoustic)

[Prometheon]

Holy shit, how can you guys dislike Haven't Slept in Years? It's such a good song, and one of my favourite to drum due to the funky beat and cool fills.

Songs I (almost) always skip:

In a World Called Catastrophe

Song for the Girl

Some of the demos like Break in the Rhythm, Requiem for Rosemary, Coming out in Purple, etc

Indestructable

Change of Season

[Computer]

Song for the girl

Change of Season

Fearless

Deep 6ix

Advertising on Police Cars

annnnd Failing the Rorsach test

[mrjones]

Song for the girl

Change of Season

Fearless

Deep 6ix

Advertising on Police Cars

annnnd Failing the Rorsach test

What? Dude Advertising, Rorschach, and Season are some of my favourites. Damn.

I absolutely can't stand:

In A World Called Catastrophe

And don't really like:

Song For The Girl

Double Life

How winy his voice got after surgery and the fact he tries to go as high as possible doesn't help but the new songs sound good since he's singing lower.

Hopeless

Oh Be Joyful (Acoustic)

[rebellious_L]

I didn't realize so many people don't like adverising, man of action, change of season and rorshach. those are all in my top 20!

Song for the girl

Radio Bomb

I, the Throw Away

Inescapable Us

I almost always skip those three, espespecially I the Throw Away, which is hands down the worst song on any of his albums and most of his demos.

[Corrinshwa]

Honestly, I've tried to like it...but I just don't really like The Rat Who Would Be King. I LOVE Audio of Being, but I always skip that one...

[Zukiki]

Last of the Ghetto Astronaughts (15 hours...)

She's Got a New Disguise

Generation X-Wing

Hello Time Bomb

It's Been a While Since I was Your Man

[Mouko]

A couple of the demos don't stun me, but I love pretty much all of Matt's songs. I used to dislike a few, such as The Fall of Man, but they grew on me a long time ago.

[squishead]

Lullaby for the New World Order and In a World Called Catastrophe. As much as I like that album, those 2 songs really ruin total immersion for me.

[Doormat]

The Fall of Man is great...It's one of the few "rockin" tunes Matt has...

[spiked]

In a world called catastrophy

I throw away

Fall of man

Jennis song

[benneb]

north american for life but i wouldn't say i dislike it, its just not as good

[Corrinshwa]

Oh, I forgot "Little Terror" from WLR&RR.

Probably because i don't think I've made it through the whole song more than a couple times...

[mikeymackinon]

hopeless, because i can not stand country. country is very close to rock, but it bugs the hell out of me. the rest of the songs and music is amazing, any one who disagrees is pigheaded. you must listen to them in different ways, do not be narrow minded. i can listen to mg
