I invaded Poland last night, but the Swiss remained neutral. ;)

I invaded Poland last night but I got so sick and tired of them that I went back home before midnight.

You don't like the Polish? I really have no idea what they're like.

They used their beet money to move to England where they were integrated there and then came here to Canada. Yes, that is my history.

Wow. And your username is Apple Shampoo, which has nothing to do with beets! So very amazing... lol.

I think my people were farmers too. And more related to Hitler than you know....

I'll see your Polish beet farming and raise you a Dutch dairy farming.

Alliteration is best.

I could be a German goat farmer but that just doesn't work as well.

Once I figure out exactly what my Italian grandparents did I'll be able to put to rest whatever the rest of you claim.

I'll just say it involved peasantry and farming whatever they needed, because that seems accurate enough.

If there's wine involved, nothing else matters.

My dad's family was a farmer on a little island in the middle of a raging river.

Now they have a street named after them in Terrace, BC..."Doll Street"..

My grandfather Burpee was a cook in the military, who upon return to Canada was told he was going to cook for Prince Charles. When the helicopter arrived, my grandfather stepped up to the first man off it and asked where Prince Charles was. The man took off his helmet and said, "What's for supper?"

I win.

can maybe your grandpa cook something for me?

That's a pretty fuckin' awesome story. Your last name is actually Burpee?

Guest apsham

Indeed it is, I am the last in my line actually, I've never met a Burpee other than my father... although I know there's a few around.
