pat wilson (the drummer) recently posted on his blog and i qoute loosely "we are still a band despite what the press says. i should know since im in the band."

blue to pinkerton to green were great in my opinion. maladroit was out there. make believe i cant even listen to. i wonder where rivers went wrong, but i think his huge dive into meditation really changed him. it made his lyrically/song writing way too simple for a complex mind like his.

I will argue that lyrically he's gotten better, but that Green and especially Maladroit were so god awful that can't make up the difference ever again. I think the good songs of Make Believe are good, but that the bad songs are the worst they've ever made ever. The difference is a negative...
