If you weren't testing the beta, the "final" version has gone gold and is up on the Messenger site. If you're using XP and not using Live, your MSN Messenger is going to get phased out soon enough.

i like the one i have now. i dont like the new "Live" fancy shmancy junk. too complicated for poor old ryan. i tried it once, and got lost on my computer. dang.

there's just to much on it.. maybe when the mess patch gets released it will be better.. and they never phased out the other versions so what's so special for this one?

Does anyone here use Trillian? I wonder how this phasing out of MSN is going to affect the MSN part of Trillian...

mess patch for it has been out since ~6hrs after it was released.

is it worth the update. I'm finding that my msn isn't displaying my contacts pics or letting me see there custom emo's

Hmm I just realized that my msn isn't showin the pics either...interesting. Might be time update...damn you MSN *shakes fist*...you win this time...
