I finished it a while ago, and I just noticed that it's on Mr. Good's reading list. I hope he enjoys it as much as I did. It's an excellent book, and quite unlike any other I've read.

Anybody else read it..?

Set in the 70s... It's about an Indian kid whose father owns an zoo in India. They decide to move to Canada because of political changes, but their ship sinks and the kid is stranded ona life raft with various animals. It's really good, although it sounds abstract as hell.

It's worth it, mark my words. And there really aren't any points where you think 'Bah, this is boring... get on with it', like a lot of other books I could mention.

I also own that book but haven;t read it yet. Right now I'm reading confessions of a shopaholic. It's very funny. I swear its a book about me and I still haven't read Harry Potter #5.

it's really good. I like the part where he discovers....well, not going to say, for those who haven't read it yet. Heard they're going to make it into a movie.

I heard M. Night Shyamalan will be working on a movie for "Life Of Pi"... But is there really going to be a movie for it?

I'm another own but have not read person. I look forward to, but have got mixed reviews on how gripping / boring it is. But since it claims to be able to make you believe in god, and seems to me to be a book I would like, I will of course delve right in when I get the chance.
