[Stu]

Check out this program. It's totally free. Comes with a bunch of effects and multitracking.

P.S. Can you get garageband for PC?

[Prometheon]

No, I don't think so, unfortunately.

[Sparq]

Indeed. I've been using Audacity for some time now.

[Shiri]

I recommend Adobe Audition. It's great.

[Ruettiger]

I like Cool Edit Pro, I think it's the version just before they changed to Adobe Audition.

[Kyle86]

...this is a sound editing program? Or what?

[Sparq]

Yes. Editor/recorder.

[Shiri]

Yeah, Audition is the new version of Cool Edit Pro. I've used Acid Pro and Music too over the years, not too bad either.

[Stu]

Yeah but you have to pay for all of those, eh?

[Shiri]

Not really ;)

[Stu]

Oh yeah. lol. *runs to torrentz.com*
