the last album I got is a concert by The Cure with songs from their very good last album

I almost never buy CD's, although the last one I bought a little over a month ago was White Light Rock & Roll Review.

I just bought Artist in the Ambulance by Thrice .. have listened to it a couple times, and I'm not all that impressed.

 

My friend raves about this band, and I just don't see it yet. Should I've gotten a different cd of theirs, or what?

How is the new Cure album compared to their older work, like Disintegration & Pornography?

actually, the new album is very similar to the "old sounds", specially Pornography (my favorite album ever), obviously there is an improvement, but they keep that old dark sound they had in songs like "strange days", "siamese dreams" from the album Pornography...
