Has anyone read the book by Michael Chrichton? It's rather excellent, and it honestly makes me wish I hadn't watched the movie all those years ago, so that I didn't know the general storyline.

 

My only complaint:

 

SPOILER (Highlight to View)
When Grant decides that even though the island is gonna be bombed and napalmed, that they have to go find the velociraptor nests and count them, 'just in case.' WTF?

I've thought about reading it but never have because i don't really care for the movie. Crichton is an awesome author though, with Timeline being one of my favourite books. Congo was pretty good too. The movies all sucked.

Haven't checked out any of his newerstuff. I definately want to read Timeline though.

 

Without giving away any major plot points, can anyone just sorta tell me what it's about?
