Ryan Dahle writes better Limblifter songs than AoE ones, though apparently him and Todd Kerns are writing together again...

Anyways some of my favourites are

Limblifter

Air Traffic Control/Madhat

Broken Social Scene

Holly McNarland

Rye

Any Craig Northey project

I'm shocked and appalled that only one person has mentioned Barenaked Ladies so far. They absolutely rock.

BNL

Matty

Limblifter

David Usher

etc etc

Sorry to rag on you here Jarrod, but David Usher didn't have all that much to do with Moist's songwriting, most of that was done by Jeff Pearce (Bass Player), and part of the reason one of his albums sounded similar was because Jeff Pearce co-wrote it...

I liked Moist too. That's cool about the basist.

BNL

Tea Party

really? damn. i feel really down now...

could that possibly be why hallucinations sucked?

Yes, he's got a new band now too though called Rye (www.ryerye.com), apparently Moist is still "together" though.

Also I pretty much stopped listening to David Usher solo after Little Songs so...

you guys should really give Matt Mays a listen... if you dont wanna buy the album, download these songs: On the Hood, Cocaine Cowgirl, What are we gonna do come september... all his stuff is great though

another one that pops into mind are the Ladies and Gentlemen... they opened for MG in London and they're pretty cool!

Wow not one Stabilo mention... that's kinda crappy

Don't think I saw the Trews either... hmmm who else...

Oh shit... Nine Mile... amazing stuff... I think everyone already got the rest of the big ones. Yes even the Hip!

Anyway... Stabilo and Nine Mile... well worth checking out

Yeah...I never really liked them to begin with and then I just kind of lost what little respect I had for them when the lead singer tried to convince me and my friend to enter an ammature strip competition after the Matt Good concert.
