BUT i cant see how jimmy page could be over rated... that guy was a musical genius!! you could put him into a recording studio and he would rip a solo as easy as swearing!

 

He could also play millions of instruments and styles and he produced the shit out of their music and did a good job of it!!!

Jimmy Page was at his best as producer. He was very innovative production-wise. Not to say he couldn't write awesome songs, which he definitely did.

 

But he was one incredibly sloppy guitar player!
