this forum needs some more active threads that arent terribly lame. so post your best words of wisdom or advise that you've told someone or been told.

here's my own advice: Always watch an over-hyped movie twice. The first time you'll probably think its overrated and say "meh", but the 2nd time you may really like it because all your expectations are gone. (this has happened many times for me, ie: The Matrix, Fellowship of the Ring, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon etc.)
