Broken Ps2

there is something wrong with my ps2... it won't read any disks that i put in, it just says "disk read error" the disks are fine tho. if anyone could help me with this i would be very greatful.

Everyone I know who got a ps2 in the first year or 2 of their existence have had to replace theirs almost at the same time. I think they have a predetermined life span programmed into them.

i miss my ps2 so much. i sold it with my tv, because i thought i was too cool and i wanted to get rid of it before ps3 came out and it was worth $15.

p.s. whoever made this topic, yeah you probably need to clean the lens, i've heard other people having the same problem. If you still have problems i'd go to a videogame message-board like gamespot.com or 1up.com and get some help.

no i meant i wanted to sell it before ps3 came out and it is worth $15.

 

i sold it with all of the games for $150 and a ticket to the System of a Down show.
