Songs/albums That Should Be Made Into Movies

[dude1234]

What songs/albums should be made into movies?

[trufflepigs]

Matthew Good - Avalanche (CD)

[bobbyshane]

even better Audio of Being

[Shiri]

Yeah, I'm going with AOB as well.

[The_Rat_Who_Would_be_King]

The Downward Spiral - NIN. Although in movie form I think it might just be too depressing and impossible to get across all the social commentary etc from the album.

[Gob]

Metallica - Master of Puppets

[mrjones]

Avril Lavigne - Sk8ter Boi?

I'd see it...

[Jarrod]

cough^ummm...that was supposed to be a movie...

i'd have to say AOB, and maybe OK Computer. that one would be weird. hell, Kid A

[shenanigans87]

Ok Computer would be interesting...especially if it was done by someone with a very keen sense of visual direction, ala Michel Gondry or Darren Aronofsky.

I'd also kind of like to see American Idiot, directed by Michael Moore, ;) as any video to come from that album has been less than stellar.

[bobbyshane]

I got one.... Pink Floyd the Wall... that one would be grea... oh yeah... nevermind...

[mrjones]

I think tool's Aenima would be cool.

[bobbyshane]

Dredg - El Cielo (supposedly a friend of thiers actually made a film... but they didn't market it... I want it)

[Prometheon]

Blind Guardian - And Then There Was Silence. Or the entire Night at the Opera album, actually.

[Morbii]

Immortal - Pure Holocaust

[Gob]

Blink 182's "Take off your Pants and Jacket" has some potential for a hollywood blockbuster.

[timotheory]

Honestly, i've thought about how awesome AOB would be for a long time.

[Dan #2]

the Coheed & Cambria story

i would like to see a short film built around Armor for Sleep's What To Do When You're Dead and Taking Back Sunday's Tell All Your Friends album always evokes urban heart-break drama images.

There are a lot of really cool ideas in this area. I wish someone took on something like this.

I'm half-excited to see how this American Idiot movie turns out.

[Lux]

I think Between the Bars by Elliott smith would make a good movie about Heroin. I know how bad that sounds, given the circumstances but I think it would be beautiful.

Lyndsey

Is AoB a concept album or does it just come across that way (at least to me, anyways)?

[EvanofEdmonton]

I'd also kind of like to see American Idiot,

I actually read somewhere that they were making a movie out of that album. ...

Huh, what'd ya know...

Actually, after reading the synopsis, it seems to me that this is going to be a pretty boring film.

Kinda reminds me of a combination of Chuck Palahniuk's novels Survivor and Fight Club.

[babyskintattoo]

little songs by david usher

[stupid password]

while i would say "Murder Ballads" by nick cave and the bad seeds...

i'd just be interested in watching "Stagger Lee" adventures.

[Dan #2]

Bitches Ain't Shit by Snoop Dogg and Co

[Morbii]

Anal Cunt's "I Sold Your Dog To A Chinese Restaurant"
