I saw a picture of it on Matt's blog, but i havent seen them anywhere, i like truffles so if their a good truffle that'd be cool, but apparently Ecnarf ( which i just realized is France spelled backwards) doesnt like them. Where did you find them Ecnarf?

Okay, I feel like a total dumbass for asking this....

 

...But are Truffled Pigs actually Truffled Pigs? Or is it something else?

 

I hadn't heard of them til I heard the song, and...well assumed it meant something else, I didn't think there was really such a thing... ;);

truffle pigs are pigs trained to sniff out truffles. truffle pigs are also, apperantly, a chocolatey treat.

 

TRUFFLED pigs, however, do not (to my knowledge) exists.

You're not missing anything.

 

Basically, they're these super expensive mushroom type things that only these trianed pigs can sniff out. They're very rare, which mkaes them expensive, and they have to feed the pigs every 3rd or 4th truffle they find so they'll keep looking. It's a crazy business.
