At first I wasn't happy about the new changes in SG-1's Season 9, but man, now I think the show's better than it ever has.

Yeah, and his "Spacey" award acceptance speeches, man thats one funny guy. The show will never be the same, but I'll watch it nevertheless.

Have you seen the original movie? If so, the show is completely different from that. Just watch the Space channel and catch the Stargate Re-Runs. You'll pick it up eventually, well I did.

I first started watching it mid 3rd or 4th season and I picked it up fairly quickly. It's some good sci-fi.

it does suck that macguyver is gone, but i think ben browder and claudia black were good additions to the cast. i miss farscape...
