Last night I watched Donnie Darko for the first time in a long time. I still like it, but it is flawed, and I don't like the way other people like it as much as they do. I've decided I'm going to read up on the stuff behind the films story so I can better understand it and enjoy some of the finer details in the film.

Last I saw in the theatre: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. It was awesome.

 

Last I aw, period: Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark. I've seen it a hundred times, and in two languages... but its just so freaking awesome.

The night before last night I saw the last half of the Shining. It was a product of its age. Jack Nicholson was pretty damn creapy though.

 

Before that I saw Brazil. Great movie, I'm a big Terry Gilliam fan. It was a little confusing, but still great. It's also the origin of the video for Carmelina.

 

Before that, I saw kingdom of heaven. I quite liked it. Not entirely historically acutare, but oh well. There was a lot of pointed remarks against organized religion.
