and you know why he ODed? His mom threw him a big party after he got released on bail and bought her son an extravagant amount of Heroin.

Well i'm wondering if they did fingerprint tests or something. i've never heard any proof offered up.

On the morning of October 12, 1978 Vicious allegedly awoke from a drugged stupour to find Spungen crumpled dead on the bathroom floor of room 100 in the Hotel Chelsea in New York. She had received a single stab wound to her abdomen and apparently bled to death. Vicious was arrested and charged with her murder although he said he had no memory of having done so. However, he later claimed to have "killed her because I'm a dirty dog". There are unsubstantiated theories Spungen was murdered by someone else, usually said to be one of the many drug dealers who visited the apartment.

 

That's the best I can offer.

well i don't think punk was all bad. i'm just saying that the sex pistols sucked at it. the clash effing rocked and so did the ramones. the misfits were quite good as well. but punk isn't my thing. what followed in its footsteps is (goth rock, new wave, hardcore, grunge, etc. )

The Sex Pistols were a novelty act. Malcolm McLaren hired them off the street with no musical experience. Their only goal was to show off McLaren's clothing line and make him fat gobs of cash.

 

They were just a really snotty boy band.

it had sid's fingerprints on it, but it was his knife.

 

they also found a suicide note from nancy to her younger brother.

nancy suffered from many physcological problems before she even met sid or became involved with drugs. nancy spungen's whole life is extremely interesting. as was sids.

 

i am a big ... (fan doesn't seem like the right word, but i'll use it anyways)... fan of them both.

yeah, she was a complete mental case and he was very much in love with her and not that bright, which means that she could say 'if you really love me, prove it and stab me in the gut' and the poor guy coulda done it just to prove to her how much he loved her.

 

but honestly i think it's very likely she killed herself.

The whole lack of talent or cohearant lyrics makes me really not care at all about Sid or any of his mates.

well... seeing as it was johnny rotten who sang for the sex pistols, he who was not into drugs at all, instead of sid i think it's the accent that makes it incoherant.

 

and all of sid's solo stuff is extremely easy to follow.
