First Contact. Wrath of Khan is a close second.

What the Devil on Rollerskates said.

I kind have flip-flop between The Voyage Home and First Contact, but right now I am a bigger fan of The Voyage Home.

I went for Wrath of Khan because that's the easy answer.

Wrath of Khan.

"Assimilate This!"

First Contact is my favourite

Followed by The Voyage Home.

The Kirk movies were like a big long episode, first contact was an actual picture in itself

They were, but I think they were individual stories as well too.

I can't believe nobody voted for Nemesis. I nulled my vote because of my love for all of the movies.

Posted

nemesis, like insurrection before it, was more drama than action

which is fine

i liked both, but enjoy first contact more

I think First Contact, and The Voyage Home are a bit more interesting too because they try to incorporate a little humour into them.

VI is definatly the best one. Of course that's probably just because I'm obsessed with McCoy and he's in this one alot, imprisoned on Rura Penthe with Kirk. It's gotta be my favourite and you can't go wrong with one of the classic Kirk vs. shapeshifter-that-has-taken-on-his-likeness battle. It's a Star Trek standard! Although... IV is sweet too because of the scenes with Chekov being interviewed by those army guys from the past who thinks he's a Russian communist spy! Ahhh Star Trek, the greatest show ever.

Pfft... Some guys at MIT are sending me reasons why Captain Picard is better than Captain Kirk. They're out of their minds.

Posted

That just reminded me of the family guy joke where Neal was trying to show why Kirk was better than Picard. The teacher said the whole project was useless because Picard was the better captain... Anyways though it's cool to see several movies are doing quite well in the voting though.

Nemisis was the best, the first ones with Kirk are kinda lame. I'd like to see a ds9 movie that would be rad. Voyajer was kinda beat.

First contact was great. the last 2 were big let downs sadly.

Posted

The Kirk movies really weren't lame... They were pretty good actually.
