Has anybody else picked up the new New Pornographers CD, Twin Cinema?

 

I just got it today and I'm listening to it right now. It's got a completely different sound and feel from the other two albums, but it's still quite nice.

I wasn't a fan of "Mass Romantic" so i didn't bother with "Electric Version". I'm loving this new album though

i too, enjoy their new one... i love the new video with david cross that guy is brilliant.

I didn't like their previous work, but I did enjoy the new song, and I did purchase the new album, and I like most of it.

and this is why I hate itunes. Because I go and purchase a nice shiny legal copy with a case and liner notes, I don't get a bonus track.

Oh well, I'll go download it illegally.

i had no idea about the conan thing... glad to hear that, ... the new album is phenominal, but i've heard some remarkable albums this year as well, twin cinema is among the best..... glad to know someone else loves face the truth too btw.

Neko Case is my hero and the New Pornographers are amazing. Twin Cinema might be easing it's way into my top five albums ever. I really want to see the new video though!

from what i've heard, i like the album. but i need to spin it a few more times to really get into it. so far, "use it" has to be my favorite song.

Also the Conan performance was good intrumentally, but I was not to impressed with the vocals, except for Kurt Dahle's, I couldn't really hear his vocals to be able to pass judgement...
