Wow! I've gotten SO into this band in a huge way. There are 15 members in the band (4 of which only appear on one track) and I've got to say, their CD (funeral) is damn near perfect. There isn't one track I dislike, and there are many that have reached the top on my "most played" list. Outstanding track include (but aren't limited to)

Wake Up (which features all 15 members)

I seriously recommend this album to anyone who is up for something different.

I hear you, although I'm not too keen on Neighborhood #4. My favourites are In The Back Seat, Rebellion (Lies), Wake Up, and Une Ann

After having heard all the hype about the Funeral, I was expecting more from it. It's still very good though, the songwriting is phenomenal.

I love this album. Fav tracks: Tunnels, Laika, Une Sans Lumiere (lol, I always forget the full name), Power Out, Wake Up, Rebellion, and In The Backseat. And that's basically all of them, except for Crown of Love and 7 Kettles. Still, they're both awesome tracks. Haven't listened to this album for about half a year now, I'm gonna have to pull it out again. ;)

i love their cd. it's brilliant. the first time i listened to it i thought it was really boring. then i listened to it some more and thought it was excellent.

It's definitely an interesting album. My favorites are the last two tracks of the album, but I still need to give it a few more listens.

"Funeral" is one of those albums that gets better after repeated listening (think of Blind Melon's "Soup," or Hawksley Workman's "Last Night We Were the Deliceous Wolves"), then you come to the conclusion that it is simply brilliant.

I hate this band a great deal. I can't even explain why, just something inside me makes me go "bluahaha" everytime their songs come on the radio. I just don't get them.

I saw a live song of theirs on MTV2 and it was crazy, there were indeed a whole lot of people on stage with all sorts of instruments and it was really nice. They're very original, you must give them that.

i thought they were super original, but i've recently started listening to broken social scene and i find they have a few similarities so.... they're still cool, just slightly less so.

I really don't get all the hype about this band... they're okay and all, but I would never buy their album or listen to their songs really either. And I agree that the Broken Social Scene is probably way better than The Arcade Fire too.

They sound like Modest Mouse to me. I also get this "pretentious" vibe off of them for some reason.
