Why aren't there any copies of the Talented Mr. Ripley (the book) in bookstores when I need them?

 

P.S. "When I need them" = a last-minute dash to find a copy at my nearest store the day before I need to bring a copy in for my English ISP proposal. There are copies in this city, just not anywhere near where I live.

They're probably right next to the 'scholarly journals' I need to find in order to write my english essay. That's due tomorrow. On two books I haven't read.

I would say probably very. But not necessarily,if you're a good enough bullshitter, you could just pull the essay out of your ass and your teacher will be none the wiser that you in fact never read the books.

Being too cold, I think. You can always pull on another sweater. But there are only so many layers of clothing you can pull off.

 

That, and I hate sweating.

 

How prepared are you for the cold?

I dunno, being too hot is just uncomfortable, but being too cold is miserable. That's my take on it anyway.

 

Because of my love of the heat, I usually assume it's gonna be hot, and so I underdress. Which sucks.

 

Do you like socks?

They serve a useful purpose, but the best part of my day is taking them off.

Once a year, in February, at the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival, I binge on them. It's fun, I'm wired and twicthy, but's it's only once a year. And yes, they taste great.
