Death Cab For Cutie

[Crusader]

They sorta remind me of Jimmy Eat World but a lot better.

Death Cab for Cutie is awesome ;) but for some reason I thought they'd be a girl band like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

Other than Transatlanticism, name some good DCFC albums.

[saturnine]

apparently they are the new 'it' band in a dying trend. listened to them, nothing special.

[Crusader]

I like the JEW thing.

[Dan #2]

DCFC are good, but they're like Jamiriqua (sp?). after three songs you're like 'so when does it pick up?'

[Crusader]

I seemed to think I was hearing this one guitar riff over and over but it was still growing on me.

What happened to JK?

[Dan #2]

i remember he got busted for drugs or something.. i don't really remember. i don't even know if Jamiriqui are alive.

"we looked like giants" is a great song... the singer's side project the postal service is also pretty good...

They've got some really great stuff and some really shitty stuff. Worth a listen.

Who cares if they're not "cool" or "hip", it's the music that matters. I reckon they're good, but then again I've only heard the Transatlanticism album.

i was just going to say that. GET OUT OF MY MIND.

yeah i dunno, i think they're great i love ben's voice so the postal service works for me too. we looked like giants in the back of my grey subcompact. fumbling to make contact...they're not like jimmy eat world at all.

[mrjones]

I like the Postal Service quite a bit, haven't heard much of Death Cab for Cutie though, should give them a listen I suppose...

[Scot]

your bruise, stability, and twentieth century towers are my favourites.

[Ravenous itchy]

I like TPS too, I think I will listen to this.

[Seanathon]

Can't get into either band. Not bad, just nothing really piqued my interest in the slightest.

[borntohula]

DCFC are alright... i tend to enjoy the postal service more though.
