Christopher Nolan owns all face, but I'm not sure I approve of Insomnia. BUT! American History X was on the other night (night for me being 2 in the morning ish) and it's good enough that I tried to stay up and watch it, even though I've seen it a few times. My only real beef with it as a movie is that Edward Norton has a tendancy suck me into liking him, until I realize that he's just playing himself, and not doing it very well at times. But it's good and stuff.

It's one of those movies where it ends and you kinda just sit there amazed (Other movies like that include: Crash, Se7en, Requiem for a Dream, and a few others that I can't think of right now)...Good movie.

This is a very powerful movie, I remember watching it and I couldn't stop thinking about it for days. I love movies that have that effect.

EvanofEdmonton - I love all the movies you mentioned!

I think the fact that B&W was used for the flashbacks made it much more powerful, not to mention that the curb scene wouldn't have been half of what it was without this.
