I can say with confidence that that list has nothing to do with the greatest hits.

Yeah, this isn't a collection of Matt's favourite tracks, just a collection of his hits. Probably all the singles in order with "Oh Be Joyful" and maybe a couple other tracks thrown in.

Well, there is the greatest hits album, and the acoustic album, maybe its that.

Matt just said those are some of his favorite songs. I don't think they have anything to do with his next album.

I'm guessing Details will be on it too.

I dont think they have to do with the album, either... It is just, as vance says, his favorite tracks but it doesnt have to be the list for the album

his favourite tracks are a lot of my favourite tracks. OMG!!!

I think it's strange that some of his favorite songs are very rarely played in concert. I've seen him 10 times and never heard WWWHR or LBMSD and heard Advertising on police cars and Suburbia only once. You would think if he felt them to be some of his best you would think he'd want to play them more.

Harder to play the songs?

Life Beyond The Minimum Safe Distance was played at Edgefest in 2002. I guess for the past few years he's been touring to support albums, so the sets are mainly comprised of those songs.

he plays the hits at concerts, but then you'd think he would put out his favourites as singles in the first place.
