Pilate

When I first seen Pilate open for Matt Good last August, I was amazed. Right away, I couldn't find anything on them online. 2 months later, they have a top 10 hit on Muchmusic and various radio stations across the country. I bought their album "Caught by the Window", and I just love it! What are your thoughts?

they sound like a rip off of U2, he's intentionally trying to sound like Mr. Bono.

I let someone borrow it it and she never returned it. But I would have to say one of the best cd's from last year.

I saw them open for the Dears. Those two bands combined was the best show I've seen, hands down.

i have never heard of them... but the fact that you say they opened for the wonderful Matthew Good makes me be curious about them ;)

Pilate is great.

They'll be performing at the Oakville Waterfront Festival on June 25th, tickets are cheap and the salads are opening up for them if you're into that sort of stuff.

I really enjoy Pilate and would like to see them. I also need to get their CD. I'm kinda disappointed that I never got to see them open for Matt and I just had TheDears (which I'm still not really that disappointed about, I just like Pilate better)

I can't believe you've never heard "Into Your Hideout" Or "Melt Into The Walls" They're the closest thing to Radiohead that I'll ever get the chance to see live... if they come here.
