Day for Night is definitely where it's at. I will say this, though: After I listened to Downie's solo stuff, Music@Work was easier to swallow. Check out Coke Machine Glow. It is different from the Hip, but you can draw connections between albums. Battle of the Nudes is good as well, but I prefer CMG.

Day for Night and Violet Light are my fav Hip albums, though I'm not so into their newest one, with Vaccination Scar. Is that the name of the album too, or just the single? I can't remember, it just never grabbed my attention.

Day For Night and Up To Here are the best. I liked the new one too actually, although I also can't remember what its called.

Anyone else really like Up To Here? It seems to be the forgotten Hip album.

the only song i know really well is Cordelia, which i love. i just havent gotten around to getting their other stuff.

They're good. My half-brother is the real fan however. He can't shut up about them. I just say they're crap to piss him off.
