I was just channel surfing and I caught The Dears doing "Lost in the Plot" on the Jimmy Kimmel Show.

I have them all. I think. I'm kind of upset that I missed that performance, but doesn anyone else find that performances on talk shows always really suck? Or is that just me?

Nah. QOTSA are usually good and that The Dears proformance was top-notch.

no, i don't think so. when APC are on leno, they play some tight ass songs. same deal with when pearl jam are on letterman. and you can't forget the foo fighters. dave grohl' appearances on "the late late show with craig kilbourn" are legendary.

Dave Grohl doesn't count because that was hilarious. But even APC. The time I saw them the quality was horrible. They played it well, it just didn't at all sound good for the medium I suppose.

do they have a big following up there in Canada? I remember seeing them with MG a couple of years ago. It was ok but kinda blah live.

They've got a big following in Montreal, and quite a bit of fans around Ontario.

I saw the dears with MG a couple years ago, and I went out and bought No Cities Left....pretty good cd actually
