mistake on "giant"

has anyone else noticed the drumming mistake in the second half of the first verse of giant? it's odd because the kick is syncopated with the bass, while the high hat and snare are doing something almost completely different.

I hear exactly what you mean...

But It's not so much an issue of the timing between the kick and bass, as it is that the kick seems to disappear.

It's a cool musical effect... and the song is still cool.

not the part where the kick disappears, but the part where he stumbles on the timing. my friend ryan pointed it out to me once and i still think it's funny.

I think we are talking around 1:30... There are a couple of miss hits... were the drum fill makes the cymbal slightly delayed.

that's the part. it's just a little bit off, and catches up rather quickly.

Ya i heard it, but it is extremely subtle. I never would have noticed it on my own. I can't believe someone actually heard it in the first place. Good ear! They must be a drummer.

maybe we (the people who cannot hear it) should just let it go and enjoy the songs instead of trying to find mistakes ;)

yes, danimal ;) i already quit trying to find a mistake, just wanna enjoy listening to it - and to the rest of the songs - as I always do

Lol, guys, just tap along with the tempo and you'll notice it.

But again its very small and quick.

Adds to the song. Songs that arent perfect are the most perfect.
