Doom

[strummer]

no idea when its due out. but it should be good. i think the Rocks the star. heard all this from a buddy. he could have been lying.

[Doc]

Not a chance. Rock was supposed to be in it. The guy that played Eomer in LOTR is the main character.

I had heard that they had totally neutered the story from the way the game is. I don't know, I'm waiting to see a trailer before I give it a second thought.

Rock is supposed to be in Spy Hunter though. Never played the game, so I don't have a clue what it's about.

D

[Sparq]

Yeah, there was another thread about this a while back. Maybe check that for more info...but basically...it will contain no demons, and it will not take place on Mars. It's just called Doom and allegedly has some first person perspective.

[HoboFactory]

And no Wilford Brimley??

[Les Trois Yeux]

What the fuck's the point then?

[Drizzt]

I like your avatar three eyes.

[strummer]

why put a name on something that had nothign to do with where the name came from. someones an idiot somewhere....

[glassjaw]

The rock is the main character

[strummer]

i think the rock is the bad guy.

[Sparq]

The Rock is not the main character from what I hear...ah well. I figure I'll go in not expecting game references, so that I'll be pleasently surprised if there are any.

yeah, they're total idiots for drawing in a massive audience of gamers to watch a movie that is completely unrelated to the game. it's almost as if they're lying for the purpose of gross financial gains.....

friggin' idiots...

[rabbit_hunter]

that would be an awesome movie. of course, much better if they stick to the game storyline..

[S.E. Hardy]

saturnine: where did you get that awesome signature pic?

[drache]

Wow a "Doom" movie eh?... hmmm... ;) ...I guess it would be ok... It would probably ruin the game series though...

[saturnine]

i killed a man in reno and stole it from his dead corpse

[HoboFactory]

Living corpses are more challenging to steal from.

[Dan #3]

That's only because they're trying to your brains.

[HoboFactory]

Beg your pardon??
