Qotsa At The Queen E

Did anyone happen to catch the QotSA show at the Queen E? They were so excellent live. I'd say they were even better tonight than they were last year when they played the Orpheum. The opening band though... what a fucking joke. (Though having the washboard player was pretty kickass.)

 

Any other thoughts/comments?

A couple of friends of mine went to the Winnipeg show. They were dissapointed of the lack of "Eagles of Death Metal". But overall were really impressed with the show.

i'm sorry i missed it. bad timing on the queens' part with it being exam time for me at the moment. if and when they come back i'll make the effort to see them though. certainly one of the bands i have to see live in my lifetime.

I really wanted to go to the Calgary show, but they sold out sooner than i could get down and buy the ticket.

I read that one of the band's members wasn't there.

They used to have two singers. One of them has left the band for reported "health reasons". He used to sing with The Screaming Trees and has gone back to Seattle.

 

Homme is still with the band, rockin' harder than ever. ;)

that's a fair opinion i guess, but i love his vocals. there's nothing REALLY amazing about them or anything, but they fit the style of the band nicely i find.
