I don't like ANYONE that won ANYTHING. Bunch of bollocks if you ask me.

Edit - I spelt "won" as "one." The fuck?

can't say i really like most of that stuff...

k-os isn't half bad, though. green day, i don't mind. amongst others.

neil young had a brain tumour, i think it was? therefore i didn't watch any of it. only reason i was remotely interested...

Posted

Agreed. Other then him, I don't think any of those winners are worthy.

Posted

even if you don't like k-os, i think you have to respect what he's doing

Posted

Yeah, I have to say "B-Boy Dance" - or whatever it's called - is a tune I enjoy.

Posted

it's one of the worst songs on the album ;)

Posted

I've enjoyed k-os's last two albums.

Posted

Really? I guess that means I have to go buy the album then.

There's a special edition Exit/Joyful Rebellion i've got my eye on. Both discs for around $25, with funky packaging.

Posted

K-os definitely deserved his awards but the other winners didn't. Billy Talent are an ok band, but album of the year?

Posted

That was my argument. I own the album. it's definitley not Album of the Year.

Posted

If you have to name your band Billy Talent, then you're not really talented. That's like a person with ADD convicing themselves they don't have ADD. They'd forget what they're doing.

i got both for $15. check out hmv. future shop has joyful rebellion on for $9.99

I don't have an HMV in this godforsaken wasteland.

Our futureshop is three months old. Maybe i should take a look.

Thanks.

why does avril win awards?

i hope she dies

Posted

because she's canadian

Posted

Whoever nominated Don't Tell Me for best songwriting or whatever it was, should be shot.

Posted

i wouldn't admit that like it's something to be proud of

you don't see me bragging that ashlee simpson is from texas, do you?

Posted

Exactly. I mean, nobody admits that Celine Dion is from Canada anymore.

Posted

Because she's not..

She's from Quebec ;)

there is something SERIOUSLY wrong with Bill Talent, the no talent hack winning 2 Juno's!

And where were the nominations for WLRRR?!?

New group: Alexisonfire

Fuckin' right.

Roots & traditional album, solo: Hopetown, Jenny Whiteley

Roots & traditional album, group: 40 Days, The Wailin' Jennys

What's with the Jenny shit?

;)

That's not that the band's name means. It's apparently a character from "Hard Core Logo". It has nothing to do with "talent" or them having talent.
